Sean Miguel McCusker GASTONIA - Sean Miguel McCusker, 26, of Gastonia, passed away March 28, 2015. He was born at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas on June 2, 1988 to Violetta Duran and Joseph Kenneth McCusker, Jr. Sean graduated from Manchester High School in Manchester, CT in 2007 and immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was deployed to Okinawa, Japan. After four years of active duty and numerous medals and commendations, Sean was honorably discharged in 2011 and then spent several months traveling the world. Sean was a junior at ECPI University in Charlotte with a 3.6 GPA and was currently serving his country in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Sean is survived by his parents, a grandmother, Linda McCusker of Gastonia, an uncle and godfather, Gregory McCusker of Atlanta. Sean's memorial service will be held 2 pm Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Mark Harris.
