It was a sad day when I learned that Dr. Steve Dial had died, but I know that his spirit will carry on in each of us (his students) who will never forget him, as his influence in our lives remains. My wife Jody and I send our sympathies to Steve's wife Carolyn, who has displayed so much strength as a loving caretaker these past few years, and to their children and grandchildren. [R.M. Crowl, Pfeiffer class of 1975]
