Wayne Hershberger Obituary

Wayne Ray Hershberger HARRISBURG - Mr. Hershberger, 60, of Harrisburg, North Carolina formerly of Spencer, West Virginia, died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Charleston Area Medical Center's General Division in Charleston, West Virginia. He was born May 6, 1953 in Roane County, West Virginia, son of the late Gay Smith Hershberger and Nova Marie Nida Hershberger. He worked for Baucom's Nursery Company in Charlotte, North Carolina for several years, enjoyed mechanical work and was a member of the Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Shamblin of Spencer and Jennifer Hershberger of Looneyville, West Virginia; one sister, Anna Hershberger Harper of Charleston; and two grandchildren, Timothy Ray and Kenneth Lee Shamblin. Services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 6:00 pm, Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church, 2007 Royal Oaks School Drive, Kannapolis, NC.
