William Earnheart Obituary
Holt was born June 27, 1938 to the late William E. and Ninia O. Earnheart. He proudly served his country in the Air National Guard from 1958-1962. His career started at Pump & Lighting Co. and he retired from HD Supply after 50 years. He served for 18 years on the Pineville Town Council and also served numerous years on the Pineville Telephone and Electrical Board where he had a heartfelt desire to serve the seniors of Pineville by keeping their bills as low as possible. Holt also loved his Masonic Lodge where he was their largest contributor.
Mr. Earnheart was preceded in death by his triplet grandsons, William Holt III, David Wesley and Samuel Orion Earnheart. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Godwin Earnheart; daughter, Melinda Earnheart Hoopaugh (Larry) of Chester; son, William Holt "Bill" Earnheart Jr. (Kathryn) of Waxhaw; his beloved grandson, Michael Colton "Colt" Gilliam of Pineville; sisters, Martha Quick (Jim), Georgia Whitley, Emily Bowie, Nancy DeVries, Cornelia Wood, all of Charlotte; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks that memorials may be sent to JKP Masonic Lodge, P.O. Box 1043, Pineville NC 28134 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.

Holt was Diddy's best friend.
Sissy, Morgan, and I will NEVER forget his numerous acts of kindness, nor his odd sense of humor.
Upon his welcome Home, I wonder if Jesus said, "Welcome Home, son. Now you don't have a choice, but to behave." :))) Knowing Holt, however he replied, it would have made Jesus smile.
