God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof (PSALMS 46: 1-3)

To the entire Ashmore family, On behalf of my family & I we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to you during this time, Please know my heart aches along with you during this time for I feel as if I am one of you. We have been around each other since the Earl Village days. Willie and I have been around each other since Pre-K at Irwin Avenue Elem School, then God allowed us to enter Middle school at Piedmont, once those days were done we went to West Charlotte High graduating the year of 2000 together, so I feel as if I lost a brother more so then a classmate or friend. I count it a blessing to have grown up together with Willie, and even more a blessing to have been able to form a long life friendship. Even though we lost contact over the years whenever we ran into each other our friendship was still the same. My prayer today is that God will continue to bless and keep you all, know that Manita & I both are here for you if you need anything we are here for you. With Much Love, THE BLACK FAMILY
