Cindy Ann Day

Cindy Ann Day of Andrews, N.C., entered the gates of Heaven after losing her battle to cancer on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025. She was at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, at the time of her death, surrounded by family.
Cindy was born on Nov. 1, 1965, in Andrews, N.C.
She was the owner of Tiny Tots Daycare in Andrews and spent decades caring for and making a lasting impact on the lives of the children in her care.
She was someone who enjoyed helping others and would do everything in her power to assist those in need without asking for anything in return. She had a great sense of humor and loved to have a good time, bringing smiles and laughter to those around her. However, her biggest pride and joy remained in her kids, Dixie and Noah.
Cindy was a godly woman, and her love for Jesus was very evident in her life. She would often speak of the Lord and would be quick to point others to God, letting them know of the impact He had made on her life.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Willard Day, and her mother, Wanda May Sisum Day.
She is survived by her brother, Steven Day (Diane); her children, Dixie Morgan (Derek) and Noah Mansker; her niece, Melissa Day; her nephew, Alex Day; and many special friends.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all the staff at Mission Hospital who cared for Cindy. The compassion and care they gave her, as well as the support they provided for her family, are immeasurable, and we will be forever grateful.
A private ceremony honoring Cindy's life will be held at a later date.
