Kathleen Schultz Obituary

Kathleen Marie Schultz (Kathy) passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, in Murphy, N.C., surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born Sept. 14, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, to Forrest and Thelma Booth, and was one of eight siblings.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Kathy was an active member of her church, which included being a member of the choir, and lady's guild at St. William Catholic Church.
Before her retirement and moving to Murphy, she was a teacher's aide with the Manatee County school system.
Kathy leaves behind her husband of 63 years, James Schultz; two daughters, Tina Fields and partner Ron Lumsden, and Tamara Zenobi and husband Kevin; one son, Tom Schultz and wife Debbie; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; her dog, Charlie; and many other family members who were all a big part of her heart.
Kathy was preceded in death by her son, Todd Schultz; her parents; and three siblings.
Kathy leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be forever cherished and missed by family, friends and all who knew her.
