Tom Nickolson Obituary
He was a native of Raleigh, N.C., but moved to Miami, Fla., with his family at a young age.
Tom joined the United States Navy at the age of 18. Tom then began a long career in air conditioning with Carrier. He later established ICE Air Conditioning in Jupiter, Fla., which he owned and operated until retiring and moving to Murphy in the early 2000s.
He was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
He was the son of the late Nickolas "Nick" and Anastacia "Tess" Miras Nickolson, and husband of the late Gloria Nickolson, who died May 23, 2022.
Surviving are two sons; Nicholas Nickolson and Jason Nickolson both of Jupiter, Fla.; and one sister; Barbara Langley and husband Richard "Allen" of St. Augustine, Fla.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Cemetery with Father James Blomeley officiating.
Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, is in charge of all arrangements.
