RUTH I. OSTWALL Ruth I. Ostwall, age 75, of Berwyn, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Loyola Hospital, Maywood. Cremation will be performed with a memorial service was held 11:00AM Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Woodlawn Funeral Home Forest Park. Burial took place in Forest Home Cemetery. On line condolences may be shared at woodlawnfuneralhome.com. Ruth was born June 22, 1938 in Ridgeley, West Virginia, to Robert & Clara S. (VanMeter) Teets. She was united in marriage to Donald Ostwall, on March 16, 1974 in Melrose Park, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1994. Ruth had worked for JC Penney for over 30 years prior to her retirement. Ruth is survived by a son, James (Dorothy) Dobry, Northlake, Illinois; 3 daughters, Sue (Ed) Hardman, Darien, Deborah Dobry, Berwyn, and Rebecca Dobry & her fianc? Keith Webster, Berwyn; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; Son in law, Paul Karner, Darien; Brother. Robert (Audrey) Teets, Forest Park; brother in law, John McNerney, Forest Park; nieces & nephews; and a loving friend, Eugene Schroeder. Ruth was preceded in death by a daughter, Ginger Karner and a sister, Eleanor McNerney.
