Age 81, passed away Thursday January 6, 2022 at his residence in the Carillon Lakes community of Crest Hill, formerly of Bolingbrook. George was a proud member of the Chicago Regional Brotherhood of Carpenters Local #10. He spent most of his time at McCormick Place in Chicago and retired in 2010 as a Union Steward after 40 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife Marianne Suzanne; daughters Pamela (Jeff) Ventanni, and Leah Suzanne (fiancée Tim Ferguson); grandchildren Dominick Suzanne-Mayer, Steven Ventanni (fiancée Gina Glasgow), Madeline Suzanne-Mayer (fiancée Danny Schindler), Alex Ventanni, and Mary Mayer, also a great granddaughter Aleta Ventanni. Preceded in death by his parents George and Elizabeth Suzanne. Visitation Wednesday January 12, 2022 from 3 to 8 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL. Funeral Thursday January 13, 2022 at 9 am from the funeral home chapel to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 401 Brassil St in Lockport, IL for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial. Family and friends are invited to meet 12:30 pm at Assumption Cemetery, 1 South 510 Winfield Rd, Wheaton, IL for interment and committal prayers. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org).
