Though I´m a year late, may the family receive my condolences still, as we grieve the loss of your wonderful mother. I worked with Alice at Kitchen & Bath Mart in the 1980s. She was one of the warmest and helpful persons I´ve ever known. It didn´t seem like work when she was around. Without ever meeting her children, I felt like I knew them: she was so proud.
Years after I had moved on, she kept alive a silly Friday tradition we had started in 1984: to see who would call who first to ask the simple question: "What´s for lunch?" She always won. Rest well, dear friend. I´ll miss you until we lunch again.

I am so sorry to hear of Alice Mae's passing & my deepest sympathy to her family. I volunteered with her at The Women's Center, one of her many volunteer contributions. She had such a generous heart to give of her time to so many organizations. I remember her energy and how she always wanted to get us together whether for lunch or a short day trip; she loved to entertain and have fun. She was also so proud of her children and grand children. Although I hadn't seen her in quite some time, I will miss knowing she is no longer with us on earth and I know she will be missed by many. May she rest in peace.
