Beloved daughter of fa ather, Rick, mother, Carol, sister, Kelly; and preceded in death by her baby brother, Brandon McSheridan; Amanda was in her last year of high school and had a great passion for Art and spending time with many of her friends. Amanda may you rest in peace. I just found out what happened this morning when I saw your mom. My heart is so sad and broken. I will never forget when you used to come to my dad's gas station and see you when you were in 5th grade. May God make it easy on your family. Just remember God only takes the ones he loves the most. You were THE best person I knew, and still are. You were never mean or foul. You simply love everyone and give kindness to all you encounter. This year I would ALWAYS see you after 4th period, and whether I was looking at you or not, you'd find a way to get my attention and say hi to me and give me the sweetest of smiles. Everyday, i walk to 5th period and miss seeing your big, beautiful, brown puppy eyes. I wish everyday, like the rest of us, that I could just see you again and talk to you, but I can't, and that's the worst thing anyone could've EVER done to me and the rest of us. It's really not fair, you had SO much to live for, such as spreading your compassion for everyone and, obviously, your amazing art work. I still have every picture you gave me, and even every note. I will keep, and cherish them all forever. Manduh, I always have and always will love and now miss you.

i have know amanda sence 5th grade and she was the most nicest girl ever. when ever you needed to talk to someone she was right there with you. she will be missed by many people. we stopped talking wen i moved out of justice and then i moved to oak lawn this year and we started talking again i was so happy to talk to her again. she is a really good friend. and i will miss her alot. You inspired me in so many ways. You were so kind hearted and you never let anyone down. What happened to Manduh was horrible, I'm so sorry for your loss McSheridan Family. Your daughter was an amazing person. She was funny, smart, outgoing. She truly touched my life in the most important way. I will never forger Amanda.

I did not know Amanda persoanlly but spoke to her on the phone and heard a lot about her
from all her co workers she seemed like a wonderfull person. I work at the Sara Lee on 59th street. God has a plan for each of us some of us are here for a long time others for only a short time Amanda touched many lives along her short time. Amanda, I didn't know her personally, but I did come into sara lee alot when she was working and she was so friendly, I was wearing a Spartan jacket and she was interested in who went to Oak Lawn, I told her and she said, she heard Football Spartan boys speak of my son in her class, and she heard of my son too. She was so upbeat and was so full of encouragement. Everytime I went in we would say hello. It breaks my heart to hear about this tragic heartbreaking news. My highest prayers go out to the Mc Sheridian family...You have an Angel always, she was a bundle of love!!! So Sorry.....She well be missed...

The little chances I got to talk to Amanda were very special. Full conversations weren't even developed but she made it feel like a lifetime of words. She was always so caring and helpful to me.
