Anthony P. Blasco, beloved husband of the late Rose, nee Gagliano; loving father of Anna Marie Dwyer, Marilyn (John) Malec, Dominic (Teri) Blasco, Joanne (William) Diehl, Theresa (Gary) Capra, the late Angelica (Ken) Ludvigsen and the late Norman (Susan) Blasco; loving Papa of Kenny, Angie, Allen, Patrick, Shannon, Annie, Rosie, JoJo, Michelle, Susan, Anthony P., Jennifer, Nofri, Nicole, Krystle, Dominique, Billy, Nicky, Robby, Joey, Michael and Anthony; proud great-grandfather of 18; loving son of the late Onofrio and Angelica Blasco; loving brother of the late Jenny Parente and the late Mary Pidala; loving Godfather and uncle. Anthony was a devoted family man who took pride in his faith and service to his church. He was also an auditor for the U.S. Government and WWII Veteran. Funeral Wednesday, 9:45 a.m. from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, to St. Francis de Sales Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis de Sales Church, 11 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. 847-359-8020 or www.smithcorcoran.com.

I was just informed about your father, I want you all to know how sorry I am. My prayers and love go out to each and every one of you. Mr. Blasco was a great man and I have alot of fond memories of him. I will never forget all the great times we shared. Dom, remember all the times we worked in the yard or plowing the driveway in LZ. Anna marie remember when we moved you and Angelica. But most of all I will never forget the homemade hot Giardiniera. Please know Mr. Blasco will always have a special place in my heart, along with Mrs Blasco Angelica and Norm.
