Anthony G. Borowski

Anthony G. Borowski, age 90, was born into eternal life on January 24, 2004. He was the beloved husband of Lottie, nee Gorski for 69 years; loving father of Barbara (James) Jaros and Robert ''Bob'' (Beverly) Borowski; cherished grandfather of Karen (James) Doria, Gary (Nicki) Jaros, Nancy (Craig) Lederman, Robert ''Rob'' (Dawn) Borowski, Paula (Matt) Coyle, Edwin (Kristine) Jaros, Jay (Deana) Jaros and Krisanne (Tim) Burks; great-grandfather of 15; dear brother of Raymond Borowski and the late Helen Jackowiak, Wanda Tarasiewicz, Virginia White and Joseph Borowski; also many nieces and nephews. Anthony was an avid gardener and fisherman. He was the former owner of Archer Market in Brighton Park, Chief SuperFood in Justice and the Little Big Dollar Store in Summit. He retired to Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas for 20 years before coming back home to the Chicago area in 2000. Anthony will forever be missed by his family and friends. His spirit and memory lives on in all that he loved. The funeral will be held Tuesday, January 27 at 9:30 a.m. from Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien, to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
