So sorry to hear of the passing of Arline, I was a very big fan and met her at a Star Trek convention where she signed a personalized photo for me, I will always remember how nice she was and ironically how April 18, was also my Fathers birthday,may she rest in peace in God's arms.

Today, on what would have been her 85th birthday, I heard the sad news about Arline, who was one of my favorite people of any generation.
She and my mother, Dolores Tronsky Streicker, were lifelong friends, as were THEIR mothers, Mary Sax and Ethel Tronsky. As the story goes, Mary and Ethel used to roll Arline and Dee around West Rogers Park in their strollers. Just last September my brother and sister and I took our mom back to visit the apartment building where both families lived.
I send my love to Joe, Eleanor and the rest of the family.

I was so very lucky to have Arline in my life since the 1960's, thanks to my Mother, Mary Dorr Parke. They were best of friends and Arline became my special friend too. We stayed in close touch always. I will be thinking about her on April 18, her birthday - and our phone call, along with all of the memories we shared throughout the years.
I'm certainly thinking of you Joe, Ellie, Kathy, Val Beth and Amber. You all were her pride and joy.
