Armand "Bud" Aranyi

Armand "Bud" Aranyi, age 95, of Wilmette; practice podiatry for 61 years and was a respected podiatry teacher/instructor at the Jesse Brown Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center on the west side of Chicago for over 50 years; beloved husband for 62 years of the late Joyce F. Aranyi, nee Greenberg; loving father of Kevin (Diana) Aranyi and Elyse (Mike Gascon) Aranyi-Welsch; adored grandfather of Amanda (Geon Tillinghast) Aranyi-Tillinghast, Casey (Toby Danger Bates) Welsch and Blake Aranyi; devoted son of the late Joseph and the late Elizabeth Aranyi; dear brother of the late Claudia (late Jerry) Katz and the late Violet (late Michael) Craith; treasured uncle and friend to many. Armand was an avid gardener, especially known for his magnificent hydrangeas. He enjoyed dancing with Joyce, they were members of a square-dancing club. Armand will be missed for his wonderful sense of humor and socializing with neighbors and their children. Service Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). The service will be livestreamed on Armand's webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Interment Westlawn Cemetery.
