ARTHUR ALLWEISS Obituary
Arthur N. Allweiss, born in 1921 Harlowton, MT, formerly of Lincolnwood, IL, late of Lexington, KY, dear husband of Norma, nee Shudnow, Allweiss; loving father of Pamela (Larry Herman) Allweiss of Lexington, KY; and devoted grandfather of Jonathan Louis Herman living in Madrid, Spain. Arthur was a WWII veteran, fought in the South Pacific, then was sent to Australia and Tokyo, Japan. He was the fond uncle of Nan and Richard Zaitlen and family of Tarzana, CA, Sabra Dunham and Warren Zaitlen of Eldorado Springs, CO, Vida and Robert Brenner of Iowa City, IA, Debbie and Peter Aronson, Bloomfield, MI. Member of the Bilow and Shudnow families. Graveside Service Tuesday, 2:30 p.m. at Rosemont Park Cemetery (Section 6), Chicago. My Uncle Arthur was with my mother when I was born and so he was one of the first people in the world to see me. I know this is a memory that he treasured. He was the last of his siblings to pass away, and he will be deeply missed. My husband, Peter, and my daughter, Justine, join me in expressing heartfelt sympathies to Norma, Pam, Larry, and Jonathan.
