Beloved husband of 27 years to the late Jeanette Marchetti Kropifko and then 27 more years to Dora "Tina" Heise-Kropifko
Loving father of James (companion Diane) Kropifko and Tom (Natalie) Kropifko and stepfather of Tony (Christine) Flores.
Proud grandfather of six, great-grandfather of four, and great-great-grandfather of one.
Dear brother of Millie Adler and Helene Harwood, and in-law of Susan Kropifko and Sal Marchetti.
Son of the late Jacob Kropifko and Dina Basavitch Kropifko.
Uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
Companion of Jacques the poodle.
Visitation Wed., Jan. 2, 3:30-9pm (eulogies 7pm), Olson –Burke/Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center, 6471 N Northwest Hwy, Chicago, 60631, 773-774-3333. Interment Thurs. Jan. 3, 11am, Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to www.wardogsmakingithome.org or any disabled veterans' charity of your choice.

Whenever I think about my grandfather, I smile... He was an amazing man and I'm so glad he was a part of my life. I will hold all the wonderful memories I have of him close in my heart. Like when he let me win at chess and I didn't realize until my 20's that I really didn't win.. or when he took me on the Log Flume ride and was smiling and laughing the whole time, thinking nothing of it since he's jumped out of planes before, while I was screaming every time we went down a drop... All my memories are happy and always make me smile and his jokes always made me laugh Thanks for the memories...Til we meet again.... Love U Grandpa!
