I just heard of my friend Artie's passing to Heaven. He was one of my best friends in grammar school. He lived one block from me and we were very close. We played that manual hockey game in his basement a lot. He even created a small penalty box. We saw Bullet with Steve McQueen together at the Hillside theater. I had a James Bond attache case and he a Man from Uncle. He is smiling in a better place to see me driving a Mustang in my older years. I think of him often, especially whenever I pass the house he grew up in. My condolences to his family and friends. He was a great kid. We had a lot of fun together.

I remember cousin Art as young, funny, and handsome. I looked up to him, and watched as he and our other cousins, Jimmy and Biggs, engaged in all manner of shenanigans! He had that look in his eyes...serious, but mischievous in the best way. The last time I saw him he was so kind, still a glimmer of himself in his eyes. Sending love to all who will dearly miss him. He is gone far too soon.
