Barbara Jean Pierotti De Lisa

Barbara Jean Pierotti De Lisa, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, with her loving family at her side. Her boundless energy and loving generosity endeared her to all. Barbara had a great devotion to God and was very active in the Catholic Church. She was born Jan. 3, 1936 in Harvey, IL to loving parents, Leo and Annetta Pierotti. Barbara happily raised her family in Beverly at her beloved home on Longwood Drive, until she moved to San Diego in 1985. Barbara is survived by Gaetano, her husband of 45 years; her daughters, Sheri Hodorowicz, Barbara De Lisa, Annetta (Dolly) Berkebile and May Greene; her sons-in-law, Andrew Hodorowicz and Jack Berkebile; and her five grandchildren, Chris Hodorowicz, Jon Merritt Greene, Giannina Mendenhall, Jenny Hodorowicz and Francesca Mendenhall. Her family and all whose lives she touched will miss her dearly. Two memorial services will be held, Monday, Dec. 3 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 1659 Columbia St., San Diego at 9 a.m. and Thursday, Dec. 6 at St. Walter Church, 118th and Western Ave., Chicago at 10 a.m. Barbara's final resting place will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Worth, IL.
