Betty Duguid Obituary

Sadly on Saturday 8th of December at the age of 85 Betty Anne Duguid of Wilmette IL. after a brief illness, has passed away. Mom and husband Gerry came to Wilmette to open and run the Curtis Curling Center in 1967. After that Mom worked with the Wilmette Park District in many capacities culminating as Lakefront Manager her dream job. Mom was predeceased by Husband Gerry, brothers (Canada) Joe Runner and Robert John Fish Runner. Left to mourn her passing her sons Greg Dinning (Beverley) Of Lac Du Bonnet Mb. Canada.Bruce Dinning of Winnipeg Mb. Daughter Tracey Causey (Bill) of Libertyville IL. Grandsons Steven and Michael Beck. Granddaughters Freya Dinning and Kelly Causey and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Also Brother Bill Runner (Adele) of Treherne Mb. Sister Naomi Jensen (Len) of Winnipeg Mb. Her best friend Mae and many friends new and old from Canada and the U.S. She will be missed. Memorial to be held at Lakeview Center at Gilson Park Wednesday Dec. 20th 4-7 pm.
