I live in Los Angeles and have not seen or spoken with Bruce in quite some many years. The last few days I've been thinking about him and went on line to see if I could find him. What a blow. Bruce and I were best friends through Boone school and on into high school until I moved to California.
Bruce was a gem, a star and truly a great, great friend. I will carry him with me always.

Bruce was a Mather classmate with whom I had lost contact until we celebrated our 40th class reunion at Carsons with my brother Alan (who reunited us). Glad we reconnected Bruce. Sorry the Cubs let you down again this year. Maybe next year, but sadly, without you.

Everyone's memories of Bruce all seem to be very similar...He was such a wonderfully passionate guy that he seemed to affect everyone that came in is path. I will remember his illuminating smile, his passion for life, cars, trains, art, the CUBBIES, and my beautiful Aunt Jeanne. He seemed to always take time to show you and teach you about the things he loved most in life. I hope that all of our wonderful memories and messages will help Jeanne through this very difficult time. Bruce will be missed but always remembered!!

I went to Mather High School with Bruce. We lost touch and re-connected at reunions. We spoke about 2 years ago and I just heard about his passing last night and was so sorry to hear this. He was a wonderful man.

Bruce was a man who took what he knew and loved and made a career of it! He was a warm, generous soul who wanted everyone to share his knowledge and joy. He treasured Jeanne Marie, who was his one true love. I will miss his humor and knowledge, but know that he is with me whenever we're on a long twisty road in a great car!

Bruce was a dear friend, a talented art director and a wonderful man with a kind heart and terrific sense of humor. I will always remember how he spoke about his cherished Jeanne Marie, his deep love and admiration for her was always a reminder of what a great partnership should be. He will be sorely missed.

Bruce and Jeannie were our neighbors in New Rochelle, way back, late 70's. They lived right across the street from my wife Roni and I. We spent many fun times at block parties and celebrations, always talking about his love for gadgets, cars, "schmussing up Poloroids" into fantastic pieces of small art. He and I played with his dogs, and shared times many times at both his different homes in new rochelle.
We had made a fun tradition of breaking the fast at Yom Kippor with Steamed Dumplings, and did so for many years with our group of friends in New Rochelle.
Never without a smile and a laugh...
He and Jeannie were great to spend time with.
My wife Roni and I (and my daughter Lindsay) will miss him.

Bruce was my boss at Darcy, Detroit. He was one crazy guy. His love of the world spilled out in his day to day. I don't remember one day where he didn't mention "The beautiful Jeanne Marie" or talk about one of his cars. He was a gear head, knuckle head, for sure. His love of photography and the automobile was limitless. His ability to guide and mentor will never be forgotten. We'll miss you Bruce. I'll see you in the Root Beer Float ( his old Pontiac) in the sky some day....
Peace friend, peace.

Bruce and his brother Steven were our next door neighbors growing up as kids on Richmond Street in Chicago. Bruce's parents Nate and Evelyn and my parents were friends. My brother Michael informed me of Bruce's passing. My condolences to his wife , family and Steven.

I first came to know Bruce as a talented art director and designer. That's where I first experienced his hugely generous spirit and constant optimism But there's something else I will always remember fondly: Bruce's passionate commitment to his fine art photography; his manipulated SX-70 Polaroid images were truly wonderful. This kind and multi-talented artist will be sorely missed by anyone who knew him.

For over thirty years Bruce has been a wonderful member of our family. What great memories we have of the everpresent Sox/Cub rivalry, car races, sitting at the table doctoring Polaroids, his clever wit and the many pictures he took of and his part in our crazy family gatherings. He truly was a kind and generous soul. The twinkle in his eye, his easy laugh and the deep devotion and love for Jeanne will be so deeply missed. Our family truly loved him and he will always be in our hearts.

Bruce and I became friends many years ago as coworkers in the same office where he met Jeanne. I met my husband there, too, and Bruce gave me away at our wedding.
It's been years since we all left O&M, but so many great memories of those days (Radio Bar & Grill parties!) were immortalized by Bruce with his ever-present Polaroid. We enjoy those pictures to this day.
Smart, funny, talented, very cool guy. I'm so glad to have known him.

Bruce was my neighbor and friend. I will dearly miss our conversations over the fence, and his wonderful, twinkly sense of humor. I wish we had more time together, but I am so grateful to have made his acquaintance.

I will always remember my Uncle Bruce as warm, welcoming, and always quick to make me laugh. I will miss him very much.

Bruce was among the most gentle and kind men we have ever known. He and Jeanne shared a zest for life that was contagious. We will remember the "root beer float" each Dream Cruise.

Bruce "The Doctor" Kramer was one of the nicest guys I've ever known. I'm proud to have worked with him in Detroit and enjoyed watching him "operate" on ads. I was always amazed at the energy and passion he brought to everything he loved most - advertising, Polaroid photo art, Cubbies baseball, toy race cars, real cars and, of course, 'The Lovely Jeanne Marie'. The world lost a good man and I will miss Bruce.

The car business has lost a true creative champion in Bruce - To my long-time friend, collaborator, fellow car nut & race fan, and Godfather to my daughter - I was proud and honored to be your "suit" - Glad we re-connected over last summer after all those years. It was too brief. I will miss you.

Bruce always held a special place in my heart and I'll never watch a Cubs game that I won't think of him. He'll be missed by all of his friends from McCaffrey & McCall and NY.
