I played baseball with Bryan at North Park for four years. He knew more about baseball than anyone I had ever met. We had a class together with Dr. Victoria Nelson in 1991 for speech communications. The assignment was should Pete Rose be in the baseball "Hall of Fame". He destroyed my "against" argument and received an A for his wit and expertise. Can't wait to play catch with you in the big house.

Heartbroken for all of you. I cannot find the words to express how I feel about Bryan's passing.
Patty, you will have to be strong for your daughter in law and that precious child.
I will be in touch when I get home at the end of the month.
I send all of you many hugs and much love.

I am at a lost for words. My deepest condolences to the Palm family. Bryan was a great friend, mentor, and motivator. Even though we haven't spoken in years; time nor distance could never replace the memories I will have forever. May his soul rest in peace.
Many blessings to the family.

It was with great sorrow when I heard about the passing of Bryan ( or B. P. as I knew him). Our connection was baseball. I first met "B.P." in St. Louis at a Cubs/Cardinals game fifteen years ago. It was his outgoing personality and passion for all sports that impressed me. That and the fact that there was another individual in this world crazy enough to travel from Chicago several times a year to see the Cubs lose in St. Louis.
This world will be a lessor place with out Bryan in it. All he came in contact with were enhanced by his presence.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Worked at the same company as Bryan for years and played softball with him for a few too. I always appreciated his loyal, gentle giant nature. His genuine interest and hopeful words about my Cleveland teams, especially when they were playing against the Sox, made me feel more at home when I first moved to Chicago. I feel fortunate to have known him and my prayers go out to all of his family and friends.
