To the Ahlberg family:

My deepest sympathy to you for the loss of Carl. I have known him for about 30 years both personally and professionally. In his sometimes quiet way he managed to achieve success through his knowledge, good sense, and appreciation of others. He will be greatly missed as a colleague and friend.

Sharon, Kerri, Kelly, Scott & family:

I can't begin to express how sad I am for your loss. Butch was such an amazing man. What a great husband and dad he was.

I have so many memories that I am grateful for and too many to mention. Except, maybe one. Remember when Butch let me drive the boat one time. He told me to turn it around just a little bit further up the river and and I asked him if he meant at that bridge. He looked at me like I was crazy. Well, there was no bridge, but I couldn't tell that because I wasn't wearing my glasses. Needless to say, I didn't drive the boat any more. But he was still pretty cool about it. That's the way Butch was.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time in your lives.

Love,

Mike, Joan, Brooke, James, Zachary, Cassie and Nicole.

Kerri & family: I just got your e-mail about your Dad yesterday. I'm so sorry that I didn't go on-line sooner so that I could have called you. I'm in shock. To me, your Dad was and will always be, very young and energetic! How lucky he was to have seen your children be born and grow into two beautiful girls! I know oh so well how sad your heart feels right now. I wish I could be there to give you a big hug. As I'm typing this, you are at the Bethany Church saying goodbye to your Dad. I was in your shoes exactly 3 years and 3 months ago in the same exact spot. It is a memory you will never forget. I will pray for you, your Mom and your siblings. All my love, Kris

Mrs. Ahlberg ~

Kerri, Kelly, Scott and ALL of Mr. Ahlberg's Family ~

There are no words that anyone can say to ease the pain and sadness you are all feeling right now. Keep in mind that he no longer hurts.

We know that he is in a better place now and is in the safety of God's embrace. Each person is set on this earth for a purpose and his was to light a candle in each person's heart. When one completes their purpose on earth, it is time for them to go, and as hard as it is for all of us, we have to learn to accept it.

He lived his life to the fullest and loved every second of it with all of you. How much he adored you all.

Booney, as he was called by his Grandchilren, OH how he loved you all, it's a grandfather's love to have his grandchildren call him that. No one else I bet shares that name.

We will definitely miss him, but he will forever live in our hearts.

All our Love,

Norman, Nanette, Brittney, Carlie and Alexie ~
