Carol Elizabeth Becker

Carol Becker, age 75, died 12 November 2023 on her own terms, accompanied by her husband, in her home under hospice care. All her loving children, their spouses and grandchildren were present on the final days. Carol is survived by her husband of thirty-one years Paul Milner, son Ethan Smith (Jessica Petty), daughter Emily Smith (Ray Gesiakowski), all of Chicago; and stepdaughter Heather Fry (Geneva) of Cortland, Illinois, stepson Eric Milner (Heidi) of Rockton, Illinois, and grandchildren Adrian, Vivian, Morgan, Elizabeth, and Declan. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Arthur Harold Becker and Elizabeth "Betty" Gertrude (Wiederanders). She is survived by her siblings Barbara Ford (Byron) of Columbus Ohio; Kenneth Becker (Robyn Hatcher) of New York City; Laura Becker (Joel Parrott) of Oakland, California and by her ex-husband Rev. Kennith A. Smith Jr. (Deacon Judith Nolde) of Madison, Wisconsin.

Memorial Service, Saturday, 25 November at 11:00 am, St. Luke's Lutheran Church 205 N. Prospect Ave. Park Ridge, IL 60068. There will be the opportunity to visit with the family beginning at 9:30 am at the church.
