Carol Teitelbaum, age 71, of Chicago, IL. Loving sister of the late Phyllis Blackburn; devoted aunt of Jonathan Blackburn and Anna Blackburn. Graveside funeral service, Friday, May 10, 2014, 1:30 pm at Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL 60706. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol's name may be made to your favorite charity. Arrangements entrusted to Weinstein Funeral Home, Wilmette, IL, 847-256-5700.

I am sorry to hear of Carol's death. She was one of the few friends I have that go back to high school. We enjoyed getting to see each other over the years. I appreciated her enthusiasm, her intelligence, her curiosity, and her skill with people. We enjoyed talking about high school and times after. I'll remember meeting her pet chicken, and Pestycat, and our walks with Grovie. Michael and I enjoyed our visits in Chicago and Washington. I am so sorry her last few years have been so difficult.
