Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family. Aunt Carrie will be greatly missed. Her smile, good humor and the twinkle she always had in her eyes when telling her stories will never be forgotten. God rest her soul--she is in peace now with Uncle Ray.

I'm sorry I won't be able to make the wake, but I would like to express my sympathy to all of her family. She was a joy to work with(catering) and a great friend. I'll always remember her tasting the butter sauce. She will be missed.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the "Mrs. Hecker" I believe I knew from Zion Lutheran Church and School on 99th. Street. I recall Linda and Bill as former students. I remember Mr. Hecker providing the class with special "smoke capsules" which were used for a 5th.6th. presentation on the very first Earth Day.
A wonderful family and great children. May God shower the family - children and grandchildren - with memories of all the blessings she was to them.
