Charles Fred Beck, 96, of Arlington Heights, WW II Navy veteran, beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Mandarino); loving father of Stephen, Barbara (Safwat) Hassan, Howard (Barbara), Charlie, Lauren Hoffstadt, and Nancy (Dean) Miller; his 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00pm, Friday at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arl. Hts, IL 60004 and Saturday from 1:30 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lutheran Life Communities Foundation, 3150 Salt Creek Lane, Arlington Heights, IL 60004, www.lutheranlifecommunities.org appreciated.
