Charles R. "Chuck" Galvin. Age 73, Suddenly. U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Donna Galvin. Loving father, friend, constant jokester & biggest supporter of his 6 children, Denise (Brian) McLaughlin, Mary "Ree" Hazelett, Chuck (Angi) Galvin, John (Heather) Galvin, Michelle Galvin and the late Dawn (Joe) Cerullo. Loving companion of Lynne Love. Proud and devoted grandpa of 13; Great-grandpa of 2. Dear brother of William (Maria) Galvin and the late Rose (late Sam) Madonia and the late Thomas (Renee) Galvin. Resting at The Brady-Gill Funeral Home 16600 S. Oak Park Ave. Tinley Park where services will be held Friday 6:00 P.M. Interment Private. Visitation Friday 2-9 P.M. Chuck will be remembered by many for his devotion as Alsip Park District Commissioner for 18 years. He never made it through a day without telling a joke. Chuck is the true meaning of a man.
