I was a frequent visitor to Chris's office at ShoreBank to get guidance. He was an incredible person - -warm, smart, high integrity and diplomacy, great, dry sense of humor -- the world would be better off with a whole lot more Chris' around. I haven't seen him for a long time, but will remember him forever. Lynn Pikholz

I'm so sorry to hear Chris has passed. Every interaction I had with Chris at ShoreBank was a pleasure. For several years, Chris joined our accounting department's annual trip to Wrigley Field to attend a Cubs game - I really enjoyed the times when I'd have the chance to sit & visit with Chris. What a brilliant mind & great sense of humor! My sincere condolences to his family for their loss.

Chris brought wisdom, balance, integrity and thoughtfulness to his role as Shorebank's general counsel. I was surprised to learn just now that we were born in the same year, as I always looked up to him as an important mentor. The world is a better place because of his life.
