Visitation, June 4, from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W. Talcott Ave., Park Ridge. Interment is private. Memorial donations can be made in his memory to the American Brain Tumor Association.

Chris, You have truly "conquered all" as we used to talk about. Now you are safe in God´s hands, which you deserved more than anyone we know. Gary and I will continue to try to conquer all on this earth until we can see you in heaven. We love you so very much. RIP, Chris.

Our prayers go out to the Larson family. In 1976, we moved to Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Our son Pat Birch got to know Chris that summer. I got to know Chris then and kept in touch with him through the years. As a U of Wisconsin-LaCrosse graduate, I told him about playing football at LaCrosse as I did. As the family goes forward, hold dear the fond memories of Chris and Ray.

To my Amigo Chris Larson, It´s still sinking in that you are gone. Your big heart, big smile, and distinguished laugh will be remembered always. Fond memories of Foxboro including swims and making strawberry daiquiris, eating at Chinese and Mexican restaurants and Lou´s pizza and our crazy adventures including Vanessa and Kyle´s wedding in Indiana and a trip to the Brat Stop. You enriched the lives of so many people, always friendly and polite. I am sorry for your struggles and I hope you´re at peace now. Until we meet in that Cracker Barrel in the sky, save me a seat alongside you and Darryl. We love you and miss you already. God bless you, your Amiga Jill. I am very sorry for the significant loss you have endured this past year. I am very saddened to hear the news; however, it does put me at ease knowing Chris is at peace now.
