Larry, Edward, Steven, Robert and Suzanne--I have been thinking of your Mother regularly and regret not writing sooner. It was such a treat to see her at my Aunt Reggie's funeral in August 2018 (along with Edward). Your parents were such a fixture in my life, being the best friends of my parents. I will always remember your Mom's sweet smile and demeanor. She was like a calm pond that rarely rippled. My thoughts go out to each of you.

Dear Suzanne and Family,
Word just got to me about the passing of your beloved mother, Clarice. She was of a generation like no other. I worked with your father at New Trier and he talked of her so fondly and lovingly. Meeting your family at the Hearts of Compassion yearly celebration...I could see that apples did not fall far from the trees:) love, Ellen

What a blessing to know Clarice and Bernie. They were wonderful friends and neighbors for almost 30 years. Though we were generations apart we shared stories, current events and lots of landscaping and household repair gripes. We looked out for each other. We learned what good parenting looked like by watching their kids come and visit for every occasion. Clarice, you enriched our lives and you will be missed.

To Steve and Family,
So very sorry for your loss. Whether we've had a parent for a very short time or for many years, it hurts to lose them. May the happy memories of your mom soon overshadow your grief.
Warm Regards,
Joy Sellstrom
