Claude Bernard Obituary

Claude M. Bernard Sr., age 64, Nov. 1, 2001, late of Romeoville, loving fiance to Patricia Steiner; dear father to Joseph Bernard, Claude Bernard Jr. and Abbey (Sharky) Gravishark; beloved grandfather of five; fond brother of Raymond Bernard and Simone Thoulouse. Born in France, lived in Romeoville the past 5 years. Employed as a chef for 50 years, currently at St. Joseph Friary in Hyde Park. Member of the Chicago Chefs of Cuisine, Valet Club Midwest. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001 at St. John Episcopal Church, Lockport, 11 a.m. Visitation 10:30 to 11 a.m. Memorials to St. Joseph Friary or the church would be appreciated. Goodale Memorial Chapel, Lockport. 815-838-1533.
