Dale Anderson Obituary

Dale Anderson, retired Chicago advertising executive, 83, died Feb. 6 in Palatka, FL, resident of Chicago from 1963 to 1998, born in Bowen, IL, Veteran of WWII having served his country with the U.S. Army Air Force as a fighter and test pilot. An executive with leading advertising agencies, first in New York and from 1963 in Chicago. In the late 80's he started his own firm, The Anderson Company. He became a resident of Florida in 1998 where he was active with the Palatka Kiwanis and the Palatka Art League. An accomplished abstract artist, he was Art League President at the time of his death. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Rosemary Anderson; daughters, Patti (Ken) Lowden and Wendy (Tom) Lash; brothers, Donald, Wendall and Kendall; and grandchildren, Kal Lowden and Shelby Taylor. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 946, Palatka, FL 32178 or the Palatka Art League Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 722, Palatka, FL 32178.

Rosemary, Bob and I were so sorry to learn of Dale's death but also very pleased to see that you had an active,fulfilling life in Florida. We have talked of you often. Our best to you; he was a wonderful man.
