Dale A. Rettke, 77, of Chicago. Retired employee of the former First National Bank of Chicago. US Army veteran, Korean War. Loving brother of Sandra Rettke-Nauman; dear uncle of Diana J. (John) Wilcher, David N. (Louise) Nauman; fond great-uncle of Blaise Brockelbank, Brittney Brockelbank, Alexis Nauman, Ashley Nauman, Katarina Wilcher and Stephanie Wilcher. Memorial visitation Sunday, Dec. 16, 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. at Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island, 708-388-1300. Cremation private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Roswell United Methodist Church Foundation; Dale A. Rettke Endowment Fund, 814 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell, GA. 30075.

I Worked with Dale in the FNBC Trust Dept during the 1960s and 70s. Always enjoyed his humor and friendship. Very sorry to hear of his passing.

I went to school with Dale in Blue Island at Paul Revere and B.I.C.H.S. He was always very studious and such a nice guy. I know that his family will miss him.
