My deepest sympathy to Dan's family. I worked with Dan in the Purchasing Department at Nicor Gas, and will never forget him giving me a ride to work on the fire truck!

My deepest sympathies to Dan's family. I have been out of the fire service for a number of years but his name and face are so memorable. The work he and mae did will long outlive him. A great loss to the fire world-real and buffs. I met Dan in 1983 at the ALF 150th anniversary.
Sincerely,
Ret. Captain Rod Hodgson
