Kelly, Connor and Devin,
On behalf of the entire Gentlemans 8 Golf League we would like to pass along our deepest sympathies. Dan was a big part of our league, he quickly became a valued friend and we all enjoyed spending time with him. He made us all laugh and we spent hours just hanging out, talking and enjoying his company.
We all struggle with what to say, we all cared for Dan and wish there was something we could do to lighten your load. We know you will have tough days ahead and if its any consolation, please know that each of us have said a prayer in hopes your family can find some peace and comfort.
If theres anything we can do to help, dont hesitate to reach out. If theres anything you need, Tom can rally the troops and well be there to help.
To remember Dan, weve decided to have a tree planted at Village Greens. Weve ordered a plaque and once the tree has been planted, well have a small ceremony to dedicate it and raise another toast to our friend. Theres plenty of memories weve already shared with Dan and well have the tree placed in a spot on the course that means something.
We know your path will be tough, know that Dan had a larger family out there and brothers that will miss him greatly. You have our greatest condolences.

Dear Braun Family,
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. My daughter and I didn't know Mr Dan as well as we should have as I can see how truly special he was to so many people. I wish I would have brought her to more story times so she would have known him better. We will miss seeing him at the library. My Deepest sympathy.

I had the honor to teach Dan storytelling at Dominican, but I'm not sure I added much to his remarkable talents as a storyteller--one of the best I've ever met in 30 years. He added so much to so many lives.

As a Worth Resident who occasionally seeks refuge at Worth Library for creative/quiet space I once headed upstairs for extra privacy unaware how it came alive post 3PM with after-school activity.
I witnessed firsthand how children flocked to Mr. Dan for enthusiastic book recommendations and lively dialogue. How Mr. Dan masterfully captured and held the attention of elementary children with such grace was a gift.
I am shocked and saddened to hear of Mr. Dan's passing and offer my sincere condolences.

Mr. Dan was so cool. He helped me learn to like reading. I had so much fun hanging out with him at the video game tournaments. I will miss him alot. Thanks Mr. Dan. The kids in Heaven are lucky to have you.

I was fortunate enough to work with Dan several times amounting to, perhaps, 8 hours but he was clearly an exceptionally wonderful, sensitive person and I know he will be missed by many. I hope the fact that knowing so many people truly admired him helps with this tragedy.
