Daniel Kasper Obituary

Daniel James Kasper was born January 24th, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to the late James and Lillian Kasper. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen Cox. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (Derbas) Kasper and his sister Diana Vanderheyden of Illinois along with other family members and friends. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. His interests included piloting his Cessna and skiing. He was also a professional ski instructor. He retired to Florida in 1989. While here, his pastimes became boating on the Dan-D-Life and being a member of the Fort Myers Power Squadron. More recently, he became a member of the Fort Myers Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 9-10. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church on December 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery will be private.

Dear Barbara,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dan. My heart goes out to you and also my thoughts and prayers are with. It is a very hard thing to go through I know as I lost Eddie 2 1/2 years ago.
