June 29, 1939 - April 12, 2021 Daniel Gordon Wickell, age 81 of Chicago IL. Beloved husband of Barbara Christina Key Wickell for 60 wonderful years. Devoted father of Cynthia Lynne (James) Gilmer, Daniel Key (Lisa) Wickell, Julie Christine Wickell. Cherished grandfather to Brittany Erin (Tom) Korth, Joshua James Gilmer, Alexander Key (Erin) Wickell, Christopher Henry (Clariza) Wickell, Jacob Key Mitchell and Arielle Christine Mitchell. Loving great grandfather to Bo Thomas and Cruz James Korth, and Addison Grace, Sienna Brave, and Elijah Key Wickell. Loving son of the late Henry Huston and Mina Clifton Wickell. Adored brother of Robert C. Wickell, Lola J. Herring, Virginia Simmons and the late Alma June Russell. Donations in Daniel's name can be made to The Branch Community Church, 6125 W Foster Ave, Chicago, IL 60630. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, funeral services will be held privately. A memorial service will take place Saturday, July 3, at The Branch Community Church. Friends are invited to share condolences to Daniel's memorial at www.smithcorcoran.com.
