Dave,
The memories are flooding back from our college years. Freshman year roomates; soph year crashing in your room. Junior year jungle juice among other epic events. No matter what you were doing you took time to visit. Then 25 years pass and we cross paths at Wrigley where I met your loving family. I will miss "otis go to bed";thanks for being such a good friend. RIP Naperville Dave, I will raise a couple Crown Royal and Coke's to honor you brother!

Dear Nasharr Family,
I was shocked and deeply saddened when I learned of David's passing. David and I shared many wonderful times together as well as with his entire family. I was fortunate to see David AND Dan (Danny) at the Du Page County Fair in Illinois a few years back. What a great pleasure indeed it was to laugh, reminisce and catch up. Seeing the two Nasharr brothers flooded me with so many wonderful memories of our childhood together. Please know you are all in my prayers and thoughts. Very truly, Anne (Wiesbrock) Gorenz, Maple Park, IL.

Dear Nasharr family,
I learned of David's passing today through the Benet Alumni publication. My heart goes out to you for your loss.
In reading through the many rememberances of David, it is apparent that he and his family touched the lives of many other families and friends - just as the Nasharr family did when they lived on Naperville Road.
When my father passed in 1998, I found a small glimmer of peace knowing that when my day came, dad would be there waiting with his wonderful smile and warm hug. I hope you will all in time find that same peace.
The Wiesbrock family will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you.

Dear Lisa and kids,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have known Dave since James River Road, 20 years ago, and from the first day we talked, I knew he was a friendly, funny, and great guy!
With his deep laugh, and suspenders, and smile, and the stories of Alaska and single malt scotch, we had something in common. He will be deeply missed by all and especially me. May God bless all of you and see you through this time of sorrow. Carl-UPS

Dear Lisa, Joseph and Annie, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Dave was one of those very special people who brightened your day when you saw him, always asked about your family and seemed to remember the details, was truly interested in what was going on in your life and would do whatever was in his power to help! I think of him with a big smile, great laugh and big personality. I just got to visit with him at the PCSO meeting and he shared stories of how proud he was of Joseph and his football, his wonderful daughter Annie and all she was doing and of course his beautiful wife. I knew Dave for over 23 years and every memory I think back on brings a smile to my face. He made a difference in this world with every life he touched, and every smile he helped create. I will truly miss him. To all his family, I send love and support and hope that your wonderful memories give you strength.

Dear Lisa, Annie and Joseph,
Today, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you cope with the loss of your husband and father. I knew Dave as an orthodontist and always looked forward to seeing him and his smiling face and positive attitude and his love for all of you. We also sharred a love for Jimmy Buffett. From Thursday until now I have been listening to the many songs by Jimmy and remembering how much Dave liked him, and I will always think of Dave whenever I hear a Buffett song, but the words of one song plays over and over in my mind to remind me of Dave's life. Listen to the words of "One Particular Harbour" and think of the good times you had and we all sharred with Dave. He will never be forgotten because he lived a life of love and kindness with all he came in contact with. I will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers; God bless you forever.

Dear Lisa, Joseph & Annie,
I knew your husband and Father for 20 plus years! He was always one of my most favorite Ortho Reps to deal with! I will forever remember all the fun times he gave us at the parties for the conventions and the Limo rides we won! With his giant Smile, his laugh and suspenders! And the never ending stories of his family! He will be missed by All. May God bless you!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Dave for the last ten years. When he came into our Ortho office it was said "Ormco Dave is here". I'm not surprised by how many lives he has touched because he was always smiling and would talk your ear off. I always enjoyed opening the office mail during the holidays awaiting a card from Dave with a picture of his beautiful family.
Just when I thought we wouldn't hear from Dave again after he left Ormco...he popped into the office with his new business card from Opal! We all knew he couldn't leave us. Our memories will live on...

I have been an orthodontic assistant for the past 27 years and through all my meeting of reps Dave was my all time favorite!! He was a joy to work with and always made us smile when he walked in the room!!! Dave made fun of me in the days of pagers because my husband and I had a special page... it was 7777777 and to us it meant LOVE YOU. Everytime I would see Dave he would question if I had gotten my 7777777 for the day..... Dave you were such a very special person and will be so increadably missed. To his Family my deepest sympathy!!!!! Dave this ones for you... 7777777

My deepest sympathies to Dave's family... I worked with him for several years at Ormco and kept in touch for a few years afterwards. He was truly the nicest of people and I cannot picture him without that never-ending smile. He touched so many lives and will be very much missed.

Lisa, Joseph, and Annie,
You had a very special husband and father! In our 15 years of orthodontics together, we always spent more of our time talking about all of you instead of the brackets we were supposed to be discussing! I always felt bad that I never had up to date photos of my kids when he would whip out a dozen or more of you all. I always felt better after a visit or chat with Dave. Just hearing his booming "have a GREAT day" at the end of the voice mail lifted my spirits! I will miss him, as I know you all will. I know that the coming months will be difficult and I will keep you in my fervent prayers.

Family Chain - Author Unknown
We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved your dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.

Dear Lisa, Annie, and Joseph,
It is with a heavy heart that I talk to you today, though I am sure not as heavy as your own. We have known David like a brother for over 25 years, have spent quality time with him, camping, flying, fishing, hunting, and in business, though the former was the more fun. Your dad and husband was a tremendous person in all ways...ever friendly and helpful, and always true to his first love, his family.
Annie, Joe, your dad will always be with you in your hearts, and he will look after you till you see him once again. Lisa, Mary and I while crushed by this news, know that your inner strength will bloom and grow once the pain and tears subside just a little, to enable you to forge the way ahead for Annie and Joseph, always in David's memory.
David, we miss you terribly and will never forget your part in our lives. Thank you for allowing us to know you.
Sincerely,
Mary & John Sparaga, your Alaskan Family

Dearest Dave,
We are absolutely shocked by this sad news. All my wife & I could remember is your happy face, kind smile and the last conversation we had in Hawaii. My wife and I both have tears in our eyes when we heard you passed away. As I have always said, you were the most ethical, respectable, kind and passionate human being. To your family, we both extend our empathy and wishing you peace during this time of sorrow.
Rest in Peace my friend,

Dear Lisa, Annie & Joseph,
Dave was a Wonderful person and a Legend in the Orthodontic Industry, I met him many years ago when he was working at Ormco/Kerr-Sybron, as a competitor, and lately I had the privilege to work with him as a colleague in the same team at Opal Orthodontics/Ultradent. He will be missed.
Today, let’s not be content to feel his loss, but instead to cherish the memories of the time we shared.
Please accept our deepest sympathy. Our thought and payers are with you.

We were devastated to hear about the loss of Dave. He was a long time friend and fishing companion with our last trip a few short months ago in Montana, where as usual, he caught more trout then I did.
He will always be remembered as "Ormco Dave" and will forever have many beloved friends that will miss him greatly, especially in the orthodontic world. Our prayers go out to Lisa, Joseph and Annie and the rest of Dave's family.
