Very, very belated condolences. I knew Dennis while our kids were into ski racing. He was a "Man among Men" and basically made sure the race hills were prepared and safe. He was the person you would want to have your back.

I met Denis at Paine Webber in 1969 and we became good friends there. We left Chicago for seven years and then returned. It was wonderful to reconnect with Denis again. It felt like no time had passed us bye. Denis was a man you just wanted to be with. He was a good friend to many of us. We all enjoyed his humor and long stories, his amusing antics with his sneaky smile and his loyalty to his friends and family. I will miss him and his companship and hold him dear in my mind and heart. He was a special person and a fine fellow. Sincerely, Jim Dean

I had the pleasure of getting to know Denis thru rugby. Denis was always the true gentleman on and off the pitch. He always had a smile and a kind word. If they are playing rugby in Heaven, I am sure that Denis is lacing them up. My sympathy on his loss to the family, and all the friends who were made better by knowing Denis.

My Deepest Sympathy to Mr. Dunne's Family. I had the pleasure of hunnting with Dennis on many occassions as I guide for the Swan Lake Duck. He was always in good spirits while afield and made for an enjoyable hunt no matter what the conditions of the day. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Denis was one of the truly generous people in this world -- you had only to ask and, if it was in his power to give it, you got it. He helped me a number of times, and I shall always remember him for it and for the many good times we had at the Duck Club.

There will never be another Denis. He was always the life of the party. He could tell stories all day and night, as we found out on the yacht trips. You always made everyone feel happy with that great big grin on your face. We will miss you and we hope you meet our son Scott up there. You both had the same sense of humor.
