My dearest Uncle Don has transitioned to another time and place. He has always meant so much to all of us here in the Washington, DC area. Uncle Don and our father Arthur Henderson are together in heaven laughing and talking about the good old days....We will see you again!

A GREAT MAN HAS GONE HOME TO GOD!
Dear friends, although "Uncle Don's" too soon departure leaves you, his beloved family bereft, you can also feel abundantly blessed by God that you have been embraced by Don's unconditional love, guidance and steadfast support throughout your lifetimes. He has been a blessing for so many others as well but especially the Arthur R. Henderson family.
The life-long friendship between our father and Uncle Don and their "stories" have become inspirational legends in our family that we share over and over again. The fact that they died on the same day - July 9th - unites them together in God's spirit in our hearts and minds. May God's love and peace be with you always. May we be always united as "family".
