Dorcas Lepien Toenniges Pearcy

Went to Jesus on July 2, 2015. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and beloved grandmother. She owned Toenniges Jewelers Inc for 52 years, and was involved in many leadership roles in Naperville, including the Naperville Chamber of Commerce, CanDo, Downtown Retail Council, and Sunrise Rotary. She played golf at Cress Creek Country Club, and flew her own single engine airplane for fun. She was an accomplished vocalist, and sang professionally with the Chicago Symphony Chorus for five years. After eight years of decline with Alzheimer's, she passed peacefully at 11:45pm Thursday night. She has upgraded her choir status to be singing with the Angels. God bless you mom. Good Journey.
