Edward Sigmund Howard, 86, of Chicago. Beloved husband of the late Iris Maria, nee Westin; loving father of Edward S., Mary K. and Carl W. Howard; brother of the late Robert and Raymond Howard. He was a WWII veteran having served in the 82nd Airborne Division. Visitation at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg, from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Services 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. Interment private. Info 847-882-5580
