Edward E. Mulhall, age 87, U.S. Army WWII Veteran, late of Orland Park. Beloved husband of Geraldine A. nee Monks. Devoted father of Janet (Roger) Douglas, Diane (Jim) Delach, Mary (Ken) Cowdery, Cynthia (Mike) Hayes and the late Tom (Linda) Mulhall. Proud grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 6. Loving son of the late James and Mary nee Thinnes. Dear brother of the late James A. (late Lorrayne), Gerald, Richard and Eugene Mulhall and Dorothy (late John) O'Dishoo. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews and a loyal friend of many. Edward was a member of the Tinley Park/ Bremen American Legion Post #2791. Visitation Sunday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Monday, 9:00 a.m. from THORNRIDGE FUNERAL HOME (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 14318 S. LaGrange Rd., (Northbound traffic: U-turn permitted at 143rd St.) Orland Park to St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. We have been so blessed to have been accepted by the Mulhalls as family and are so appreciative our daughter has been able to experience the privilege of having such wonderful, caring grandparents looking after her.
We will all miss you so much Mr. Mulhall, but we will never forget you. We continue to pray for comfort and strength for you Mrs. Mulhall, Janet, Diane, Mary and Cindy.

Our thoughts and prayers to our favorite aunt and our "always special" cousins. We will miss Uncle Ed "Eddie". We have very fond memories of celebrating the holidays and summer vacations with you all. Those memories are special and will never go away. Uncle Ed is now with the rest of family on the other side. Uncle Eddie, we were blessed to have you in our lives and we will cherish all the memories we have of you. We will miss you at our family gatherings, but know that you will be there in spirit and always in our hearts. I'm glad that I was able to say goodbye to you at your home last week & see how the family helped make your journey as peaceful & comfortable as possible. We love you very very much.
Aunt Geri, Janet, Diane, Mary, Cindy and all the family, may God bless you in this time of sorrow. Our hearts go out to you at this time and in the days ahead. All the wonderful memories that you have of Uncle Eddie will keep him close to your heart. You all now have a special guardian angel to keep watch over you. Uncle Eddie, you will be greatly missed by everyone you know. I was so lucky to be able to say goodbye to you at your home last week. It was very special to see the comfort, peace & love your family was sharing with you to help make your journey as comfortable & peaceful as possible.
I will miss seeing you at the picnics & family get togethers, but you will always be in my heart.
I also want to extend my deepest condolences to you, Aunt Geri, Janet, Diane, Mary, Cindy & all the grandchildren & great grandchildren & spouses. You all have such wonderful & happy memories to keep Uncle Eddie close. He's now with Tom & everyone that has gone before him. I bet the reunion was awesome.
You are all in my thoughts & prayers every day. I love you all.
