Eddie, Gary, Dale and Mark, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I was mighty impressed by him when I was a child. Living next door to all of you was great fun. Again, please accept my sincerest sympathy on your loss.

I met Ed in the late 1960's and worked w/him. Always a perfect gentleman. Remember the death of his wife Jane. If my memory serves me correctly, his sons were hockey players. He connected me with a cousin (Preston, IA) and we would drive out there and purchase the best beef in the world. Ed was a true gentleman. Sorry for your loss. I am a Life Member of the VFW, Niles, IL.
