Edward Wasserman, age 79, formerly of Wheeling, late of Pembroke Pines, FL, beloved husband of Estelle, nee Shulman; loving father of Maxine (Jeffrey) Gold and Elaine (Bill) Benson; cherished son of the late Morris and Etta Wasserman; devoted grandfather of Scott Korogodsky, Erin Korogodsky, Will Benson, Mikey Benson, Andrew (Evelyn) Gold and Brooke Gold; dear brother of Saul (Fran) Shulman and the late Minnie (late Al) Wilensky, Esther (late Nate) Tobias, Hy (late Pearl) Wasserman and Harvey Wasserman; fond uncle of many. Lifetime member and former Commander of Skokie Post #328 J.W.V. Graveside service Monday, 11 a.m. at Shalom Memorai Park, Rand and Wilke Rds., Arlington Heights. I just learned of Mr. Wasserman's passing and regret that I am too late to be at the service. I have worked with him for over 20 years with respect to his personal insurance and have always enjoyed talking to him. Mr Wasserman has always been a gentleman. I handle over 800 accounts at our office. A few always stand out. Edward Wasserman was one of the few. I will miss him.
