Edwin Czajkowski "Chick", of Glendale, AZ passed away Dec. 17, 2007. Edwin was born in Chicago, IL on Aug. 16, 1924 to Thomas and Charlotte Czajkowski. He retired as a Pattern Maker in the steel industry in 1991 when he and his family moved to Arizona. Edwin was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church. He loved golf and bowling and was an avid sports fan with a particular affinity for the Chicago Bears and Cubs. Edwin loved to dance and enjoyed gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lucille Ganczak. Edwin is survived by his loving wife Chris Czajkowski; children Debi, Mark, Keith Czajkowski; granddaughter Katie Czajkowski; brother Ronald (Mary Ann) Czajkowski; sisters Florence Rabka, Evelyn Waszak, Aurelia Pudlo, Dorothy (Donald) Major, and Mary Ann (Victor) Pawl. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a scripture service at 7 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, AZ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 8:30 a.m. at St. Helen's Catholic Church 5510 W Cholla St., Glendale, AZ. In lieu of flowers remembrances in Edwin's name may be given to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 W Northern Ave., Ste A-100 Phoenix, AZ 85021 or the Alzheimer's Association 1028 E McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85006.

We are saddened to learn of Chick's passing. He was a very good friend to our entire family for many years.A gentle and loving husband, father and grandfather.

Ed was such a friendly man and he and his wife raised three wonderful children and an adorable granddaughter. Our prayers are with the family at this time of loss.
