Ekaterini "Kathy" Sikaras, nee Liakopoulos, 98; Born in Kollines, Arcadias, Greece; Beloved wife of the late John; Devoted mother of Petros (Georgia), Panagiotis (Dina), Konstandinos (Dina) and Maria (Sam) Prassinos; Cherished Grandmother of 9 and Great- Grandmother of 18; She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. The family would like to especially Thank the staff of the Greek American Rehab and Nursing Center for all the great care she received. Family and friends will meet for visitation Friday Morning from 10:00 a.m. till time of funeral service 10:30 a.m. at St Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church 7373 N. Caldwell Ave. Niles, Ill., Interment will follow to Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Greek American Rehab and Nursing Center 220 N. 1st Street Wheeling, Ill. 60090 appreciated. Arrangements by NICHOLAS M. PISHOS FUNERAL DIRECTOR, LTD. 773-745-1333.

Whenever I came to visit the family, she would hold out both hands and smile her brilliant smile. Loved to see her, even though neither of us knew the other's words. For Hello or Goodbye, I said to her, "Grandmother" which I hope she took as respect and affection. My condolences to all her family and friends.
