I was saddened to learn of Elizabeth's passing, having worked with her in the School of Art at N.I.U. She was an amazing wealth of information about teacher certification requirements in Illinois. She will be missed by many. My thoughts are with her loved ones during this difficult time.

I worked with Elizabeth in the School of Art at NIU and cherish her as a friend and mentor. Her wit, Hawaii anecdotes, love of dragons, and her unwavering professionalism and ethics will not be forgotten. May you be at peace, Elizabeth. I loved our time together and I miss you dearly.

So sorry to hear of your loss, of Elizabeth. Word is just passing through the School of Art, this morning. I am sitting in her old office and on the wall, still, is her print of a saying, " Anything worth doing, is going to take longer than you think."
Again, my condolences.
